The Hungarian mezzo-soprano is winner of the Franz Liszt Prize in 2017 for her extraordinary musical and theatrical work and was honored as ‘Kammersängerin’ of the Hungarian State Opera Budapest. She feels convenient in the German, Italian and French repertoire. With a great depth in her timbre and her perfect diction she conquers the stages worldwide. In season 2017/18, Atala Schöck was singing the title role of Carmen in Brno, Gertrud in the new production of ‘Hänsel und Gretel’ at the Hungarian State Opera and – as a regular guest stars of the Budapest Wagner Days – her first Brangäne in the new production of ‘Tristan und Isolde’ under the baton of M° Ádám Fischer. In 2018-19 season, the Hungarian mezzo-soprano will make her debut as Judith in the new production of 'Herzog Blaubarts Burg' at the Teatro Massimo di Palermo.
