The mezzo-soprano is at home on all stages of the world and highly acclaimed for her intense interpretations. Her repertoire includes Amneris, Ortrud, Küsterin, Klytämnestra, Herodias, Magdalene, Erda, Venus, Waltraute, Fricka and Brangäne but also more recently Stolzius' Mother, Amme (Die Frau ohne Schatten), Begbick and Auntie in a new production of Peter Grimes. She is currently preparing Kundry, Venus (Paris version), Kostelnicka and Dalila. As a regular guest at Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden she is singing amongst others Kader (Schönerland) and returns for Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera) in 2018-19. In summer 2018, she is guesting at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. With her own recital ‘Sing Sistah Sing!’ she is guesting around the world celebrating the African American female voice.
