The beautiful Russian soprano is especially known for her work with  M° Valery Gergiev. Born and raised in Moscow, she now is living in the US. She is famous for her interpretations of roles such as Norma, Turandot, Salome, Aida, Lady Macbeth (‘Macbeth’), Katerina Ismailowa (‘Lady Macbeth von Mzensk’), Abigaille and Cassandra (‘Les Troyens’). The parts of Sieglinde, Elisabeth, Senta, Gutrune, Kaiserin and Ariadne complete her German repertoire. 2018/19 started with a fabulous Turandot at the Hong Kong Opera, followed by her acclaimed debut as Brünnhilde in the ‘Götterdämmerung’ under the baton of M° Gergiev in November 2018 at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. There she will also appear in the title role Aida, as Katerina Ismailova in ‘Lady Macbeth von Mzensk’ and as Kaiserin in ‘Die Frau ohne Schatten’. Further, she is singing Abigaille and Turandot at the Oper Leipzig.
